Some students will get through the first part of our program within 9 months, with 1 hour lessons 2X per week . If your child just needs to improve a bit to catch up to others in their grade level, a 9 month contract may work for your family.
Many students will take 9 months -2 years to get to grade-level. Some, however, will take longer. It just depends on the age of the student, where we need to begin, and how quickly your student is able to transfer information to their working, long-term memory. There is no guarantee that your student will be at grade-level within 18 months. But there is a guarantee that your student is reading better after we have worked with that student for at least 9 months in consistent, direct instruction.
We ask that families commit to Bound To Read, LLC for at least 9 months, or one school year.
Summer: July 4-August
If your student needs Summer Instruction, those sessions are paid for at one time at the beginning of the summer. You will contract for a set number of sessions (4, 8, or 12) to take place during 4, 6, or 8 weeks of intensive work during the summer months. If you discover that your student needs more work after your first contracted session ends, you can contract for another set number of sessions, sessions at a time for consecutive weeks of work during the summer).
This allows families to go on summer vacation, take part in sports leagues, and enjoy time together. If you want your child to continue tutoring all summer, which is what we recommend to keep from regression occurring over the summer months, our 16 session package over eight weeks would be your best choice. All packages are prepaid, with discounts beginning with the 12 session package.
